I went to a ride, had very little stress with the process. Had a visitor to my camp kick back in a chair and have conversation with me, had a person just chug down the trail in quiet solitude with us, broke camp in a neat and organized way, had no real worries about the horse. Was spontaneously asked to help a couple of people which was nice. I seriously enjoyed myself and had fun! Maybe we are finally getting this thing. ☺

Sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteYep, you got this thing. Hooray to you and the Spotted Wonder.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. Isn't it lovely when it starts to come together?
ReplyDeleteIt just felt good...none of my typical anxiety of "not fitting in" "gonna get lost" "the damned beast is gonna kill herself". Other than a slight issue of pouring too much water over my horse (other than drinking it) I HAD A GREAT RIDE! Wonder how long it will take me to go all "chill" on 50?
ReplyDeleteI realized that my gear is all working well. I don't even hardly window shop anymore though camo niggles my consiousness now and then, but I don't actually need anything. Have some things on the it would be nice list, but we are functioning just fine. Feel we can whoop up on an LD whenever the urge strikes, and 50's will continue to be a challenge for awhile, but that keeps me interested. When the challenge goes I may have to take up dog training *LOL* (or cowboy dressage). That isn't happening any time soon. I AM WOMAN...I AM ENDURANCE GRANNY!
