EHV-1 Outbreak
This was only a week ago. Just a heads up to riders in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Ohio.
The outbreak began at The Bucksnort Trail Ride in Tennessee. An infected horse spread the virus. There have been horse fatalities. As a precautionary measure the trail ride place is closing for thirty days and spraying down common areas such as stall to disinfect with bleach solution.
This kind of stuff gives me the crawlies. We can control a lot of things, but viruses are not one of them.
