An awesome rump rug with draw strings to pull it up! A digital stop watch for interval training. It hangs on a lanyard, and has a whistle attached for calling help in an emergency :) ~E.G.

Is this one of the rump rugs with the elastic draw strings? If so, make sure to keep your ends tucked in. I've seen a few horses that when the rug was rolled up, the ends dangle down and then catch on brush as the horse goes by. The elastic catches, then snaps back and , ahem, **interesting** antics can ensue. Just be careful!
ReplyDeleteI'll keep that in mind *LOL*! Last thing my girl needs is another reason to act up!
ReplyDeleteI've got one of those rump rugs and have, in fact, experienced the little *zing* associated with the elastic snapping back.
ReplyDeleteHere's what I do: flip the long elastic strings cross-wise so that the left-side string dangles slightly over the right flank and vice versa for the other string. This is easy to do from the ground or the saddle, and it is also easy to extend the rug without the strings tangling. I love that rug!
