Sally Lun Bread

Not every day turns out to be conducive to horse handling.  Today being a seriously blustery day with horses running amuck at imagined horrors, it seemed like a good day to bake up some Sally Lun Bread.

A packet of dry yeast stirred into two cups of 115 degree water and 1 teaspoon of sugar.
4 TABLESPOONS of REAL BUTTER
Warning this 2 teaspoons of salt does NOT supply Iodide, a necessary nutrient (gasp!)
A horse on a bag of bread flour must be a good omen on a blustery day, right? Use 6 1/2 cups.
Brown eggs, cage free and big!
1/2 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of skim milk (have to compensate for the butter and the sugar)
Don't you just love LSEGH's cool bread stirrer upper?
Stirring the wonderous goo and also where my batteries failed.... and I lost all photos of kneeding, rising, and baking....However....
Crusty, crunchy and rustic bread,  real butter melting on the top, sprinkled with salt, crunch crunch crunch, nom....nom....nom..  ~ E.G.
