Turtle Rocks, still trying...
The glare from the flash really takes away from these little turtle rocks. They are about paper weight size or smaller, and remind me of little petroglyph rock paintings. I like them much better than the one that was a rock turtle. I'm going to see if ride management wants them, if not...they will be up for grabs along with some other little turtle things. The ride is Spook Run so the black and white as in BOO! ~E.G.

OMG those are super cute, EG!
ReplyDeleteThose rocks are super-cute!
ReplyDeleteI thought they would be kind of a versatile funny little prize. They'd look cute collected on a little shelf, you could put them in the garden, or even use as a paperweight on your desk, put them in a sling shot to hunt small game, and if worse came to worse a weapon of self-defense.*LOL*!

ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love them. Sure wish I Doc & I could be the turtle at Spook Run. We have been 100% the turtle so far on 30 mile endurance rides. :-)
ReplyDeleteEG, They are adorable! Did you paint them yourself? How creative! Hope you have a super ride- can't wait to hear about it.
ReplyDeleteJan,
ReplyDeleteYep, I painted them. I'm not sure if they look like ancient rock paintings or road kill turtles *LOL*, hoping ride management will want them. If not, I guess Aarene will get a box in the mail sometime this winter. My husband got me a dremmel with a rock carving tool this weekend, so I'm going to try carving some turtles into rock and see how that goes. Gives me a great rainy day project. ~E.G.
