God willing and the creek doesn't rise, the snow doesn't fly, and freezing rain doesn't set in! Michelle has invited me for ROAD RIDING 101. Can a person be terrified and thrilled all at the same time? Cause I am!!! That is the plan for Saturday.
Sunday I hope to meet with Lida at Versailles in the morning for a conditioning ride.
And then....I'm off Monday too! Woo hoo!!! Might try out the new Cobra radios and do some solo riding out back here.
Absolutely giddy ~ E.G.

Sounds like a GREAT time! Have fun! I will keep my fingers crossed that weather co operates, looks like it should be alright?
ReplyDeleteThere aren't too many safe places to ride much here yet. I've tried the fields, but snow is still pretty deep. TAZ was not tolerating it well. So that leaves the paved gravel roads, as long as a plow or roadgrader doesn't need to go by... The ditches are filled to the top with snow, so there is no safe way to get out of the way! :(
Looks like our temps will be in the upper 30's-40's the next several days. I'm hoping it remains warm enough to melt off a lot of this snow.
Take a picture or two if you can! :)
Yeah! And the weather is finally cooperating.
ReplyDeleteMichelle
Weather is looking good for tomorrow. Sunday is "iffy", but hopeful anyway.
ReplyDeleteHoping enough miles of road work with a solid horse will help Phebes next LD.
