Movement does not = Progress
Funny how time gives rise to thought, and thought to conversation. Having conversation with the LSEGH (Long Suffering Endurance Granny Husband) he boiled the past six months down to one simple statement:
Movement does not = Progress
Phebes and I hammering down the trail, building fitness was all well and good. But if the horse has not wrapped her mind around it mentally then I'm caught in a circle of movement that takes me right back to where I've been...the beginning. Don't you just hate it when the men in your life are right? ~E.G.

I hate it when they are right!
ReplyDeleteLaura and I are planning a ride at Versailles Saturday morning. Do you know if they are taking money now or not?
Thanks,
Michelle Detmer
I hear you COMPLETLY!! I am sure if I pushed Bling~ she would do it to make me happy... But, I am more concerned about her... She hasn't had any REAL consistant riding,I can just tell... so, for now- we are just going to get used to enjoying riding... She'll let me know if she's up for more.
ReplyDeleteNice post! I love my husband DEARLY!! "He completes me..." :)
Michelle,
ReplyDeleteLast trip I made to Versailles there was someone at the gate asking for park and bridle passes.
