Back Injury

Leave it to me...only "I" could roll over in bed and injure my back at the same time.  Part of the joy of living into your sixth decade I guess is the excitement of the unknown, the thrill of unexpected events!  But yes, indeed, I've put my back out of commission by rolling over in bed.  If I lift my left leg there is an ominous "clunking" sound in the lower left portion of my back where the back joins the pelvis.  We will not focus on the sound effects I produce when I put that portion of my anatomy to use.  It is ugly.   I'm going to give it a week to right itself (forever the optimist) before handing myself over to the general quackery of modern medicine.  Maybe I'll see a chiro instead.      ~ E.G.

  1. Where would you start if this was your horse's complaint? Since their skeletal system is identical to ours, it seems like a good place to start. Get better soon.

  2. You poor thing - that is indeed a clever trick!
Joining you in optimism, I hope it fixes quickly, but don't put off getting it looked at if it doesn't!
