A congratulatory message for two Indiana newbies
I wish I'd have got photos this weekend of the two Indiana newbies to the LD scene at Chicken Chase 1. Maggie (riding Mika in my favorite shade of blue lovely tack) and Jen (aboard the flying Cheeto!). These beautiful young women completed well on their first attempt at LD. Congrats ladies! Once you are hooked....well as the old saying goes "your goose is cooked." Hard to get it out of your blood, flying down the trail with the wind in your hair (given that you are still actually ON THE HORSE). Proud of you both. ~ E.G.

Two of my favorite girls :) I was wondering if you guys had run into each other out there.
ReplyDeleteHeh heh :) Thanks!! We're SO there, where ever there is! Thanks for being a smiling face for us, it was SO nice to "know" someone!
ReplyDelete(PS feel free to steal pics from my blog!)
ReplyDeleteThank you!! We had an absolute blast and we'll be back one of these days. Mika dropped some weight and its been so rainy and the ground is so wet I haven't actually been on him since the ride, but we're definitely hooked!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late to the party on this, but I'm finally taking a break from all the end of semester stuff and reading back entries.
