It looks like she made it to the 68 mile point. It seems like a lot of people get pulled at Foresthill. She made it 68 miles, farther than I will ever go, on one of the toughest trails in the country, if not THE toughest trail. Just the experience of being there must be incredible. I can't wait to read about her adventure on Boots and Saddles when she gets back.

Kind of depressing to see my ride compressed into a few lines of text. LOL. It was adventure. I don't ahve a real story posted yet, just some thoughts and some pictures, but a story should be coming this week sometime.
ReplyDeleteMel, I can't wait to read about your ride. It must have been quite the experience. You may not have finished "this time", but you learned a lot about that trail, and I bet you've already thought of things you'd do differently. Be proud of your attempt. Those who "try" never fail, only those who quit fail. I would be so thrilled if I could even attend that ride...but to be a part of the story, that is awesome! Welcome back. ~E.G.
