The Stylish Blogger Award

Abbie at Walking With Horses has graciously given Endurance Granny The Stylish Blogger Award.  Poor sweet little Abbie ...what she does not know is that I shop at Goodwill so I can spend on my horse.  The blog may indeed be stylish but I am not.    Now I think there are rules to this thing, but I'm not very good about following those either.  But I'm keepin' my award!  I will share 7 things about myself, because I'm feeling it here...

#1.  Today I ordered a Specialized Eurolight for my little mare.
#2.  I ordered it from Trailwise Tack who had a killer deal...free pad, free shipping if you order in February.  If you decide you want one to you can follow this link Trailwise Tack ask for Michelle and tell her Endurance Granny sent you!  It is a sweet little deal and she's super helpful.
#3. My new little saddle will be rocking a Royal Blue roughout suede seat.
#4.  I am growing out my hair.  It is going grey really....really fast.  I want to have a long braid by the time it is completely silver (so it will be out of my way as I race on down the endurance trail).
#5.My husband and I have been married 20 years.  I wouldn't trade him for anything...well....don't tempt me with a race bred arabian.  No, really ---he is awesome ♥
#6.  I have extraordinarily long legs for a short person.
#7.  Phebes was subjected to day 2 of her captivity today, there was a minor rebellion in the round pen, but we worked through it.  Then we rode over ground poles, and did lateral work at the trot between cones, and small trotting figure 8's, her ears were pinned she does not like tight figure 8's.
And there it is.  Darn it, I am so guilt driven that I have to lay this on some other worthy person who may have already got the award.  If you have, I deem you excused from guilt or obligation.
I hereby dub thee: Stylish...
I was going to add Funder's site but I think she's already had this award.  She really deserves to have it twice as she always makes me laugh.  So Funder if you want it...come and get it *LOL*

  1. I'm hoping it isn't literally a Stylish Blogger Award too! I'm probably the least stylish person you'd meet.

It was lovely to read more about you!

  2. Michelle is awesome :) I've ridden with her a handful of times. Ozzy is in love with her horse, Lucky.

  3. LOL, I think you're the fourth person to hit me with it. I did it once, and I don't have seven more exciting things to say, so NYAH! :P

I am so excited for your new saddle! Will you sing Elvis songs to it? What kind of fenders did you pick?

  6. Funder,

I didn't order fenders, I prefer leathers as they don't put any pull on my knees. I'd not thought about singing to it, but if I like it I might have to name it "Elvis." I was tempted to get a purple seat so Aarene could lust after my saddle they way I have wanted her's.

  7. Jacke, Congratulations on your new saddle! A great saddle is a really, really wonderful thing! (I love love love my Continental reining saddle, so I know the feeling!) Thanks for the award! Like you, I am anything but stylish. If something was in style five years ago, I am now wearing it! Enjoyed your sharing about yourself. You and Phebes are doing some good work!
