It doesn't sound like much but when you have a river of sweat running down the cleft of your butt from the stream down your back, and you are trotting up hills, it is a workout. I did five laps around the trotting track tonight and then two loops. Took more time because I stopped at every watering hole to encourage her to drink. She still had a gallop in her for the field just before home, then I got off and walked her the rest of the way in, hosed her down. She loves drinking out of the water hose now, too bad they don't have any of those out on the trail.
Planning a longer loop for Friday morning early. ~Endurance Granny
