Try to enjoy the days as the come and while it's always good to plan, i have learned to not count on anything going as planned, because things rarely do. At some point I would love to ride the Pony Express trail, though there are shorter options of course :) A 5-day, 250 mile ride would satisfy me, at least for a while.
